Should I choose Regular or Wide?
If shoes usually fit your length but squeeze the sides of your forefoot, consider Wide. Regular suits feet that typically feel comfortable in standard-width shoes. Check the size chart before ordering rather than choosing extra length just to gain width.
Can I adjust them for a high instep?
Yes. The laces let you adjust the fit across the top of your foot. Loosen the crossing sections where you feel pressure, then secure the laces for a comfortable fit. Your heel should still feel secure when you walk.
Are they comfortable for longer walks?
Flexible soles, a roomy toe box and underfoot support are designed for everyday walking comfort. Fit and comfort vary from person to person, so use the 30-Day Comfort Trial to see how they feel on your usual routes.
Will they feel hot and stuffy?
The breathable fabric upper allows airflow, while the soft interior adds comfort around your foot. How warm they feel also depends on your socks, the weather and your activity level.
Do I still need to tie the laces?
Yes. These are lace-up shoes, not a hands-free slip-on design. The benefit is being able to adjust the fit across your instep rather than relying on a fixed opening.
Can I try them outdoors—and return them if they do not suit me?
Yes. Normal indoor and outdoor wear is allowed during the 30-Day Comfort Trial. If the fit or comfort is not right, email service@stepthetop.com within 30 days of delivery, before sending them back. Eligible trial returns include covered return shipping and no restocking fee.
